ASI Curbs
Seismic/Wind Brackets
The ASI Curb is equipped with factory installed 7 gauge seismic brackets on the floating top rail at each spring pocket. These brackets will meet seismic requirements and are adjustable to accommodate various base rails. The floating top rail is constructed of 10 gauge galvanized steel, the base curb is constructed of 14 gauge galvanized steel. Removable lifting lugs are attached to the floating top section at each spring pocket.
Spring Pockets
The ASI Curb can accommodate a spring deflection from 1.00” up to 3.00”. All spring pockets are supplied with a ¼ thick neoprene acoustical base pad, integral restraining bolts and internal spring adjusting nut and bolt. All spring locations have a removable waterproof galvanized steel cover to allow for spring adjustment and/or removal.
Seismic/Wind Attachment Method
Seismic attachment angles can be bolted or welded to the roof structure. There are two seismic angles per spring pocket. Seismic angles are pre-drilled with required hole sizes.
Engineered Systems
Computer modeling with finite element analysis has been performed using the methods and principals of the International Building Code and ASCE. Professional Engineering stamped calculations can be provided in all 50 states upon request.
