Cambridgeport Economizer’s offers the durability of a gear driven system. This new system uses fewer moving parts that translate into lower maintenance and increase reliability.

The Honeywell Solid State Control System manages performance based on CO2 / demand control ventilation (DCV) requirements and outdoor air enthalpy or dry bulb. Options include dual enthalpy control and remote potentiometer. All sensors are available from Cambridgeport.

VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL APPLICATIONS:

The Gear Driven Economizer is designed to accommodate both vertical and horizontal applications. The Economizer is shipped in the vertical configuration and can easily be converted to the horizontal application without the use of tools.

SAVINGS: 

The Gear Driven Economizer minimizes return air pressure drop, thereby saving motor horsepower. This translates into reduced wear and tear on your rooftop unit. 

SIMPLICITY: 

Easy to set and easy to maintain, the Gear Driven Economizer does not obstruct access to rooftop unit filters.  No special panels or adjustments are required to install or maintain the Gear Driven Economizer.

RELIABILITY: 

Expect reliable, trouble-free operation thanks to the Gear Driven Economizer’s electronic controls, actuator and enthalpy sensor.

RELIEF: 

Expanded barometric relief openings provide relief of natural building pressures with standard barometric relief capacity of up to 90%.

PROVEN TECHNOLOGY: 

The Gear Driven Economizer features the industry accepted Honeywell ‘black box’ actuator and control system.  In the event of a failure, these common parts are either in your serviceman’s truck or down the street at the local distributor.
